Tasting notes: Intense ruby red color.
The nose is fascinated by the complexity that plays its olfactory cards between sweet and bitter. Sweet notes of slightly ripe fruit attributable to blackberry, black cherry and plum, are integrated with those of wood and vanilla and rebalanced by more bitter notes of Mediterranean scrub, coffee beans and cocoa powder.
The structure satisfies the palate, the tannins are soft. The finish is dry with discrete persistence.
